  • The GDP of their entire nation is less than the budget we provide to our National Science Foundation - which accounts for about 1 percent of our 2010 budget. And there a lot smaller than the U.S. so it would only stand to reason.

  • I dont agree that we need to remove capitalism but just the hierarchical structures (economically, socially, religiously, etc) of our societies. I think once big government is gone, the free market will solve the problems those same governments have created.

  • Yes I am interested in Tennessee as well. I'd love to see what you have on the county formations and such. I have quite a lot of ancestors on my mothers side that lived in Tennessee and Kentucky in the 1800s Not sure what your mean when you say,

  • Yeah, From what I remember from my research on my mothers ancestors Christian County KY came up quite a bit. That's the area a lot of them migrated to out of Virginia. Any idea of a website that would give you free access to those old maps you mention?

  • Yeah courthouses burning down and records being lost seems to a be common occurrence in a lot of places I've seen. Yeah Id probably get a kick out of people mistaking me for my ancestors too. My mothers people are from an area not to far from Gainsboro, TN.,
